SOLOIST ELISA SCANZIANI

Elisa, born in Milan in 1995, began studying violin at the age of three under professor Stefania Gazzola and then under Virginia Ceri in the Suzuki School of Milan and she got the Suzuki Diploma with full marks when she was only eleven years old.

She won numerous awards and prizes: in 2002 the First Prize at the III Rassegna “Musica è Gioia” in Milan, in 2003 the First Prize at the XI Competition “Sara Preatoni” in Garbagnate Milanese, in 2006 the First Prize and the Special Prize of the Jury at the Competition “Citt di Giussano”. In 2007 she was among the finalists at the Rassegna Nazionale d’Archi of Vittorio Veneto, in 2008 she got a honorable mention at the Premio Nazionale delle Arti which took place in Turin and recently the Second Prize at the European Competition of Youth Orchestras in Santa Margherita as concertmaster.

Now she is attending the 9^th course of violin at the Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Milan in the class of Mauro Loguercio.
