ORCHESTRA
Capita Selecta Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit Dutch orchestra, offering soloists from conservatories home and abroad a chance to perform with us in their own country as well as in The Netherlands, as final preparation for their graduation. For almost 20 years now Capita Selecta has organized musical tours abroad. Previous trips were to France, Hungary, England, Italy (Sicily) and Germany.
The members of the orchestra are all serious players, and many have professional musical training. What unites them is their passion for music, culture, travel and adventure. The orchestra is composed of a core group, to which new members are added for every new project. This way it presents a new face and a new musical identity every time.
